Orbis Basic

ORBIS is an experimental retro-futuristic BASIC runtime focused on terminal graphics, realtime rendering and creative coding. It combines Unicode graphics, Kitty image rendering, procedural effects, animation systems and audiovisual experimentation inside a self-developed multimedia environment inspired by old demo scenes, fantasy computers and retro computing aesthetics.

The project explores unusual rendering pipelines and hybrid visual techniques ranging from cinematic terminal scenes and atmospheric particle effects to sparse compositing, procedural visuals and realtime cyberpunk-inspired environments.
